With IH desserts. I would…
Wed –the chocolate ripple cake.
Its spongy cream, softened chocolate biscuit and mouth watering chocolatyness (yes, it’s so beautiful it created its own word) has everyone at IH scrambling to be front of the dinner line. Well, I’m going to go one step further and marry the chocolate ripple cake. In the high points of life I can celebrate with it, in the low times, it will comfort me. I will need a life-long supply, and though it may die (read: I’ll eat to many), we will be the greatest life-long partners.
Bed – the sticky date pudding.
Let’s face it, it’s a classic and it’s sexy. A delicious cake by itself, soft-centred with the tiniest bit of crunch on the top. The sauce is something else. Gooey, sugary, sticky. Its best move in the bedroom is in the microwave. Heat that baby up and the sauce is to die for.
Dead – THAT pink mousse.
You know the one I’m talking about, the one that needs the gravity test. A gravity test to the grave. If you want to play this game yourself, come along to the CaterCare dessert tasting on Thursday the 14th. Many desserts will be on offer – who will you marry?
